OA & APC Policy

At the Linguiverse, we are committed to fostering transparent, inclusive, and equitable access to scientific knowledge. As part of our mission to democratize research dissemination, we operate as a fully open-access journal.

Open Access Policy

Linguiverse follows a Gold Open Access model, which means:

  • All published articles are freely accessible online to readers anywhere in the world.
  • Readers are not required to pay subscription fees or register to access content.
  • Authors retain copyright and grant anyone the right to read, share, download, print, and cite the work, as long as proper attribution is given.

Linguiverse publishes under the internationally recognized:

Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0)
View License Terms

This license allows:

  • Reuse of articles for both commercial and non-commercial purposes
  • Adaptation and remixing of the work
  • Distribution and reproduction in any medium
Provided that proper credit is given to the original author(s) and source

Article Processing Charges (APC)

To maintain publication quality while supporting open access, most academic journals charge Article Processing Charges (APCs) to cover editorial operations, peer review, archiving, and hosting.

However, in alignment with our inclusive philosophy and thanks to the support of our sponsor:

Linguiverse will not charge any APCs for the first two issues
This waiver is fully funded by MIE Azerbaijan MMC to encourage high-quality submissions and strengthen academic collaboration.

Future APC Announcements

Starting from the third issue onward, APCs (if any) will be:

  • Clearly communicated on our website
  • Fair, affordable, and regionally considerate
  • Subject to waiver or discount requests for researchers from low-income countries or underfunded institutions

Linguiverse is committed to maintaining financial transparency and author-first policies at every stage of the publishing process.
